Mobile Content Portal Mippin continues to launch new features for its user base, and today sees the highly inventive 'Free Games' section of the site launched. With a couple of hundred games (supplied by Greystripe) to be rotated on a regular basis, Mippin is giving users another sticky reason to use the site.
The news also flagged up this interesting titbit - in the first four weeks of hosting mobile-optimised video on Mippin, over a quarter of a million .3gp files were streamed or downloaded.
From the Mippin blog:
There are over 200 games immediately available and many more in reserve that will be rotated continually each week. There is a benchmark to aim for: in the first four weeks of videos within Mippin we saw a massive 250,000 video downloads. Will Games be as compelling?
