N-Gage Sales Chart for 5th to 11th of January 2009

First full chart of 2009 and it seems the batch of Christmas games is still going strong. Most of these games aren't pre-installed on new phones, so it seems users are discovering new games for themselves, which is a good sign.

N-Gage Competitions Still Running

You may remember an article last year where AAN did a round-up of all the N-Gage related contests running at the moment. Below you will find links to various compos which are still offering various goodies to promote the platform, including Nokia smartphones, N-Gage games, some VERY cool Star Wars items, and, erm, bathrobes.

Worms World Party IS coming to the new N-Gage platform after all

Hurrah! It seems that THQ and/or Nokia have changed their minds, and the apparently cancelled Worms for N-Gage has been un-cancelled. This is great news for the next gen N-Gage as the game was very well received on the original gen N-Gage, and should be even better on the new platform thanks to the bigger screen size and better internet connectivity. Nokia chose to mention All About N-Gage's "Most Anticipated Game" reader poll in their Worms announcement, so perhaps AAN's readers managed to get Nokia to see how much demand there is for this game.

Free N-Gage game with the Official Xbox 360 Magazine?

According to reports on the N-Gage Arena forums, the UK Official Xbox 360 Magazine, also known as OXM, has an extra disc with the current issue (Jan 2009, Issue 42) which contains one free N-Gage game activation code as well as other N-Gage-related gubbins. Can readers of this particular periodical confirm the existence of the disc? Have you seen it included with other magazines?

N-Gage game vouchers launch in Indonesia, apparently

Still catching up on the news, the official N-Gage blog quietly mentioned that physical vouchers for N-Gage games have now gone on sale in Indonesia, with a special bus touring the region to promote them. Hopefully they will become available elsewhere soon, especially in those countries where phone bill payment isn't available. We would love to hear from any readers who have used or seen these vouchers, please do post in the comments thread below if you have.
